Owl3D Converter Reviews
Using 2.3.0 to me the live 3d conversion looked better than the one that I converted. Halos looked less apparent and hair was not near as ghosted.
So I assume the technology works flawlessly. Even the Owl3D software via a VR headset and Virtual Desktop already delivers good to very good visuals.
v2.4.2 working full sbs on Windows 11. Very minor note "Fullscreen" label being so far from the actual toggle is a little confusing.

will fix. thanks!
Hi, 😀 I use OWL3D v 2.3.1, and I wanted to ask if it’s possible to add a curved screen option for TV mode in the OWL3D Link app for Quest (Meta OS). I really like the image quality, but the flat virtual screen looks a bit odd—especially at the standard viewing distance—giving the impression that the edges are curving away from the viewer. If you could add an option to curve the screen slightly (into a semi-circle), it would make viewing any content much more comfortable. I also noticed occasional lines and artifacts in videos with rapid camera movement or quick cuts; if that could be …
The conversion speed for 1 minute of video (1080p) take 2min30sec(in balanced mode), 3min30sec(in Movies & Anime mode), 2min27sec(in Fine-Tune mode) but also depend on video complexity.
It feels maybe smoother with 2.3.1. Could be placebo. Or the fact that my other monitors are 144hz, and now it matches its own 60hz instead of doing double work.. While there is of course still a bit of flicker when the camera tracking settles. It seems massively reduced from a while ago. To the point where I cam comfortably move my head around and only getting the occasional wrong view. (mostly when going too fast with my head)
This is great tech! Does it support AMD cards as well, and if not, will you support them in the near future? Does it work while playing games, and if it does, does it add any latency? I have so many questions…
2.31 Live Conversion looks almost perfect but there’s still noticeable stutter, a lot better than before but still there using Bigscreen app.
Hello. I’ve converted a movie and it seems to be fixed; the conversion time is back to what it was in v2.3.0. Thanks for fixing it.

Cool! Thanks for testing
It is a great tool. Now I can watch all content, I can see an the PC screen, in real 3D on my 3D TV or my 3D projektor. It is true: already all Netflix, Prime and Youtube videos in real 3D via owl screen app, Great!!!
I’ve been fascinated with 3-D since 1957. I use the free version of OWL 3D to convert my photographs into 3-D for VR big screen. I’m 83 years old on Social Security would love to be able to afford one of these tablets, JUST wishful thinking.
Seem the live 3D is work well, but the prerender video sbs with longer depth will have ghost effect. Dont know it belong to limited tech hardware or software, let hope it can be improve with new version. Same source video work well with VR player Second is text in video being ghost and blur a lot.
